The programs are each made up of lessons, 12 for Therapeutics, 10 for Materia Medica. Each lesson contains at 5-7 DVDs, some have additional CDs and many have printed material. I am not fond of overt testing, but each Therapeutics lesson contains a list of concepts and questions that you should be able to understand and answer from the lesson. You should answer or comment on those questions and submit them by email or hard copy; we will reply and when this is all dealt with we will send the next lesson. The Materia Medica has no quiz, rather a lesson guide (preparation methods, formulas, formula preparations) and periodic audio files. We think a lesson every 3-4 weeks in optimum, but whatever. A certificate of completion is offered...upon completion.

The cost of each complete program, payed in advance, is $1200 for Therapeutics, $1000 for Materia Medica. The video portion of the Therapeutics program totals 130 hours. Materia Medica is 115 hours of video (primary plants) and about 100 hours of audio (secondary plants and field lecture)
 
If you wish to pay by the lesson, each lesson is $120, except the first, which would be $150. The first lesson for each program contains 6 DVDs, two class manuals and clinical forms, and the Herb Research DVD, containing 1.6 gb of files that include over 80 complete books, 4,000 plant monographs, 8,000 plant photographs...a Library on a Stick. The intent is to make every student information autonomous.
